If you are a band that is looking for some publicity, we are more than willing to write a review on your music and possibly interview you. We are open to all music styles, and we pretty much always write good and positive reviews.

For those of you who are not in bands or don’t know anyone looking for publicity, we have a job for you.
I (Alex) am not always able to attend every tour, which means that I don’t have the chance to photograph or interview many bands. This is where you come in. If you are going to an upcoming show, I might be able to hook you up with a photopass and an interview with a band playing.

Here are the jobs and qualifications:

  1. Photographer - Only serious photographers will be considered for a photopass, meaning you need a legitimate camera. Send in some samples of your work, and even if you’ve never shot for a show, if we like your photos, I can help you out with whatever you need.
  2. Interviewer - We’ll help you out with questions, but you’d be the one conducting the interview. The interview will be under Make Wave’s name, as in, it may not be used for another website. It will obviously have your name on it, but it will be featured on our website (and eventually in our magazine once we start up with Issuu).
  3. Reviewer -  Be it a concert, an album, or anything relevant to music, if we like your writing, you can write whatever you want pertaining to the music industry. We just ask that you send in a sample review on an album (or whatever you think would showcase your talents the best) and we’ll let you know from there!

If you or anyone you know would be interested, please let me know! We’re always looking for new people to help us out. If you aspire to be in the music industry, this is a wonderful opportunity for you to make some connections, build up a portfolio, and just have a great time.

Hey everyone!

It’s been a while since we posted on here, but for the time being, this is where all of our interviews and stories will be spotlighted because our website is currently down. We are in the process of trying to fix it, but it is proving to be more difficult than anticipated.
Think of it as being under construction, because we hope to be coming back with something even better.

Our e-mails are still working, so if you need to contact us, you can send us an e-mail or just send an ask through here.

But in other news, we do have a lot coming up.
We are working on moving over to Issuu to publish a legitimate magazine, and I am hoping to change the layout of our site a bit to reflect that.
There are a bunch of shows coming up and some interviews I hope to have set up in the next month or so, so look out for that.

As always, if you would like to shoot a show, write a review, or anything music-related, please let us know and we can try to set something up. We are looking to expand our team and get some new photographers and writers on board from across the country. Living between New York City and Philadelphia almost ensures that most tours come through the area, but that is not always the case. So if you have a show coming to your area that might not be coming here, just shoot us a message and we can all help each other out.

Hopefully we’ll have some more news on the website soon, but for now, we’ll wee you all soon!

We will be interviewing The Maine on their upcoming tour this fall, and we need everyone’s help with questions. The interview will be around October 24th, so get your questions in by about a week before then. We’ll ask anything that they have time for.
